Sprinkler Time!

Gran & Pop gave Caroline this funky flower sprinkler last year, so we decided to finally put it to use! After one run through the water, Little Miss "C" requested her froggy goggles.



Ben watched his big sis play in the yard...

then he got into some water action of his own in a roasting pan, of all things!

Summer Has Begun!

I can't believe that Summer is upon us - at least it is in our world. Schoold (a.k.a. Mother's Morning Out) is over and our days are wide open! Translation....the house is in an unending state of toys-spread-all-over-the-place! Here are a few of our latest and greatest moments:

Grandpa & Grandma come for a visit. Grandma comes to play with us often, and every now and then we get to see Grandpa, too!!

Ben is scooting all over the house. He won't crawl yet, but likes his mobility. Guess the gates will be going up again soon!

Daddy got a turkey last week, so we went to "Uncle" Roger's house to fry it up. Little Miss "C" enjoyed picking flowers out of his garden.

10 Month Old Patient

Ben is 10 months old! Just this morning he's been subject to a physical examination from Little Miss "C" which earned him a bandaid on his arm.

He is getting around mostly by scooting on his bottom, which works pretty well on the hardwoods! He is drawn to tags, for examply he immediately feels around for the tag as soon as I put a bib on him. Most things go right into his mouth, of course, like the other night while he was in the bathroom during his sister's bathtime:

He's got 6 teeth and I think that one more is coming in on the bottom!

We had a busy week/weekend last week doing a garage sale, and were blessed with a visit from Nana & Papa to help watch the kids on Saturday. This culminated with Little Miss "C" being able to go watch her cousin's dance recital on Sunday night. Now she wants to do ballet and "magnastics" (gymnastics) around the house!

Chattanooga Adventure

It's 2:20pm and both of my babies are napping.....they've had a busy morning together, first to the bike shop for a quick repair and then to get the oil changed in the van.

A few weeks ago we took Little Miss "C" to Chattanooga for an overnight adventure! She got to visit the park, get on the old Delta Queen riverboat, swim in the hotel pool and visit the Tennessee Aquarium. A huge thank-you to Grandma & Grandpa for staying at home with Ben so we could have some special time together!

The Latest and Greatest

Poor little guy is cutting all 4 of his top front teeth at the same time! We actually see two of them, now... He's starting to say, "da, da, da, da...." a lot and is working on his "ma, ma...". Still won't get off his tushie to try and crawl yet!

Got our "Big Sister" and "Little Brother" shirts on today for a photo op....here's the best that I could do!!!

I obviously don't feed my kids enough....
